Mid Devon

The district of Mid Devon lies between Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills. From the centre of the district, the coasts of North and South Devon are about 50 minutes drive, making the area an ideal base if you wish to tour Devon. A couple of the key towns in Mid Devon are Tiverton and Cullompton.

Tiverton

A bustling, historical market town in the heart of Mid Devon, Tiverton has a wide range of attractions to interest the visitor. For cyclists and walkers, a series of footpaths and country lanes also link the villages in the surrounding hills. Tiverton is a great destination for a short break or as a base to explore the many attractions throughout Devon.

Cullompton

Cullompton is a quiet country town, with key access points for drivers and walkers to some of Devon’s prettiest villages in the Culm Valley and the Blackdown Hills. The town is home to an award-winning farmers market, which will give visitors an authentic taste of the area’s produce.
