Teignbridge

Teignbridge is the area between Torquay and Exeter and the eastern part of Dartmoor, which consists of a range of environments including coastal resorts, stunning varied countryside, wild moorland and busy market towns. Teignbridge has 20 countryside parks and nature reserves, including a National Nature Reserve at Dawlish Warren. The main towns within the district are Teignmouth, Dawlish and Newton Abbot.

Teignmouth

Teignmouth is a busy port on the mouth of the Teign estuary, with all the attractions of a seaside town, including a Victorian Pier. For many years Teignmouth has been attracting visitors to its large beaches and amenable climate. Teignmouth has an interesting shopping area with some unique local speciality shops. There are also plenty of places to stop and get some locally produced food and drink.

Dawlish

Dawlish is set at the edge of beautiful rolling countryside as it meets the imposing cliffs of the sandstone coastline. It is situated on Brunel's stunning South Devon Coast Railway, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world. There are three beaches within Dawlish; Boat Cove, Coryton Cove and the town beach that stretches towards the award-winning beach of Dawlish Warren - a popular holiday destination which is also a wildlife haven with its own visitor centre.

Newton Abbot

Newton Abbot is a thriving market town in Devon situated at the head of the beautiful Teign estuary. It is often known as the gateway to moor and sea because of its closeness to Dartmoor National Park and the coastal resorts of Teignmouth and Torquay. The shops in Newton Abbot give a wide choice to both residents and visitors. There's also a selection of restaurants and cafes available too.
