I’d visited Devon on holidays a few times before, and decided it would be a great place to live full time. People here are friendlier and more sociable – there’s always time for a chat. Life in general is so much more pleasant here, and it feels safer somehow.

Although my work is essentially the same as before, the environment in which I do it is beyond comparison. The clean, fresh air and general scenery really has helped give me a new perspective on life.
